Experienced

Allison has over 35 years of experience handling complex, multi-party disputes between contractors, sureties, owners, design professionals, construction managers, subcontractors and suppliers involved in large public and private projects. She has  arbitrated and mediated hundreds of construction-related cases regarding disputes on commercial, industrial, energy, infrastructure and EPC projects.

 

Knowledgeable

As a former construction litigator, Allison has a deep understanding of issues faced by owners, contractors, architects, engineers, developers, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, lenders and manufacturers.  Allison has been a member of numerous AAA Panels and frequently serves as Panel chair.  

Involved

Allison Snyder has been active and involved in the legal and construction professional communities. She is a Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers, The College of Commercial Arbitrators, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She served as the Editor of the Construction Law Journal of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section from 2019-2021 and Co-Editor from 2015-2018. She continues to serve on its editorial board. Allison has also dedicated time as a past Chair of several organizations, including the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section, the Houston Bar Construction Law Section and the Houston Bar Association ADR Section.
